World Travel Tech Awards

The World Travel Tech Awards are the sister event of the World Travel Awards and are currently celebrating their 30th anniversary.

World Travel Technology Awards – the global initiative to recognize and reward excellence in the travel technology sector – has presented the winners of its 2023 program at a glittering gala reception, held in Atlantis The Royal, DubaiUnited Arab Emirates.

Top travel tech brands from around the world hit the red carpet at the third annual World Travel Tech Awards gala ceremony, held at Dubai’s most exciting new resort.

Notable winners included Qatar airlines earn the coveted title of “World’s Best Airline Website” and Tourism in Dubai proclaiming “Best Smart Tourist Destination in the World”.

Reserva.com It also celebrated this year by proclaiming itself “Best hotel booking website in the world.” Microsoft Teams was named winner of the “World’s Best Video Conferencing Solution” award; and Uber compiled “The World’s Best Ride-Sharing App.” Expedia was voted “The best travel booking app in the world” and Amadeo was hailed as “World’s Best Travel Technology Provider.”

Saudi Arabia earned the title of “World’s Best Tourism Authority Website,” while Red Sea International Airport was named “Best smart hotel project in the world.” Panasonic Avionics won the title of “Best Inflight Internet Service Provider in the World.”

Other winners include DiscoverCars.com (“The best car rental booking website in the world”), roiback (“The world’s best hotel booking solutions provider”) and “BNESIM”“The best travel SIM provider in the world.”

The results are the result of a year-long search for the world’s leading travel technology brands. Votes were cast by travel technology professionals and the public, with the nominee receiving the most votes in a category designated as the winner.
