A report by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism states that India is the top country of origin for foreign travelers. An estimated 46 lakh international visitors traveled to Dubai in the first quarter of 2023, compared to about 39 lakh tourists during the same period in 2022.

India also emerged as the largest source market for foreign tourists with approximately 800,000 tourists, closely followed by Russia (470,000), the United Kingdom (390,000) and Saudi Arabia (350,000), the report said.
